One of the few moves in tap that produces such a unique sound that really stands out among the rest. The best can hit these consistently.
Tip: To get these I try to position my feet as far apart as I can but still within hitting distance of each other. I also sickle my feet to get the metal to touch (don’t tell my ballet teacher).
